Jaywalk Landings Removal Project
Reducing wildfire risk and improving forest health by facilitating the transport of previously felled, unmerchantable woody biomass to productive end-use facilities
This project is part of GSNR’s broader effort, in partnership with the U.S. Forest Service, to reduce wildfire risk and improve forest health by facilitating the removal and transportation of previously felled woody biomass from National Forest System lands to productive end-use facilities.
The Jaywalk Landings Removal Project will support the removal and hauling of an estimated 8,265 Green Tons (GT) of material located at designated landings within the Lassen National Forest.
The successful bidder will be responsible for retrieving the designated material from the identified landings, chipping the material on site as required for transportation, and hauling the material to the end-use destination identified in its bid.
